Ouch

A word of advice....

If you are ever walking down the stairs whilst carring some step ladders, make sure you count exactly how many stairs there are because you may think you've reached the bottom when you actually haven't, and keel over...

....and end up in A & E with a broken foot.

Not the most sensible thing I've done 2 days before Christmas!

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful time and that you stuff yourselves stupid.

Me? I think I'll place myself comfortably on the sofa and STAY THERE because combining wine with crutches could turn out to be a really stupid move!

Merry Christmas Everyone, and lots of love. xxxx

Oh no! Poor you. Do hope you get better soon. Hope Rob turns up and fusses round you. Enjoy Christmas as best you can. At least you have a genuine excuse to languish on the sofa!

I sometimes do that on a ladder when coming down backwards.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas and yes you stay on the couch and make sure you are well fed and watered.

Shoot Elaine, that's really a bummer. I bet that was a painful experience. It's not much fun to be confined to the sofa and to have to hobble around on crutches. I do hope you get some help from somebody.

I'll be thinking of you at Christmastime. We're both on our own, after all, and now you are disabled as well. I hope you have a lovely time anyway,

Big hug,
Irene

If I was you I would barricade yourself in on the couch and nail large pieces of wood all around it hospital bed styleeeee so you don't run the risk of falling out and spilling a bottle of wine. Less damage is likely to occur but just remember to bring the TV remote control in with you so as you don't have to ....... awwww bummer you forgot to bring it with you before barricading yourself in didn't you?!?! Oh well at least you'll have lots of spare time to count the cracks on the ceiling! :-D

Merry Christmas Laney (and foot) ;-)

Good Morning Laney,

Dog gone, I'm sorry to hear it.

I hope there's someone around to help you out, isn't your son in France?

Keep your foot up and get plenty of rest. Please don't mix wine and pain medications.

Have a Happy Christmas!

Talk about oneupmanship, You beat my flu hands down... and feet up.

Just keep a bottle of vino close by so you don't miss out on the best bits of the celebrations.
